You Don’t Have to Feel Ready

There is a myth that healing only begins when you're confident, strong, or inspired. But often, the real beginning happens in the in-between when you’re unsure, worn down, or feeling far from your best. And still, you take the call. You show up. You pause to breathe through the discomfort. That is enough. That is strength.

You do not have to feel ready to begin. Readiness is not a requirement for growth. Some of the most meaningful change begins in the exact moment you feel least prepared and still choose to move forward. That quiet decision carries more power than motivation ever could.

There have been days when I waited for the right mood or a burst of clarity before acting. But what I’ve learned is this: the step often comes before the feeling. Peace can follow effort. Trust can grow even in uncertainty. If you’re showing up with what little you have, that is not a small thing. That is resilience.

You’re allowed to go slowly. You’re allowed to not have it all figured out. You’re allowed to keep showing up anyway.

Start before you feel certainOpen your heart even if it still feels tenderTake care of yourself even if you do not feel strongSay yes to change even if you do not know what comes next

You do not need to be fearless to begin. You just need to beginAnd even the smallest step forward is a step that matters

Even a hesitant beginning is still a beginningAnd beginnings, especially the quiet kind, are where meaningful things grow
