Nakeema Patrick is a Virginia-based Licensed Professional Counselor and board-approved clinical supervisor with over 13 years of experience in the mental health field. Born in Long Island, NY and raised in Lynchburg, VA by her grandmother, she brings deep compassion, cultural insight, and a commitment to care into every space she holds. Nakeema earned her degree in Criminal Justice from Virginia Commonwealth University before completing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Lynchburg College.

Her career spans a wide range of roles across hospitals, juvenile detention centers, community service boards, and residential programs—supporting individuals across all ages and backgrounds. She has led efforts in therapy, crisis intervention, mentoring, and community-based services, with a heart for underserved youth and families impacted by incarceration and poverty.

As a board-approved LPC-S, Nakeema offers clinical supervision to Residents in Counseling across Virginia. Her greatest passion lies in teaching and guiding the next generation of mental health professionals. Outside of her work, she loves traveling, spending time with loved ones, trying new adventures (from skydiving to ocean dives), and continuing her own journey of growth. Her guiding belief: “We only get one life—let’s do some good with it.”
